Obituary: Daisy Dale Trimble, September 19, 2013 Contributed by Brenda Scott Hines May 2015 *********************************************************************** The Observer/Enterprise, Coke County, TX - Friday, September 27, 2013 Daisy Dale Trimble, age 98, passed from this life to life eternal late Thursday afternoon, September 19, 2013, at Heritage Oaks Retirement Village in Corsicana, Texas. She was born on July 24, 1915, to Thomas Edward and Carrie Walker Rives in Fisher County near Rotan. She was the youngest of five children. She moved with her family at the age of one to Coke County, Texas. Her folks were farmers and made their living from the land. On December 14, 1934, she married Montgomery Edward Trimble in Robert Lee, Texas. They were married 71 years until his death in 2006. They were the proud parents of one son, Monty Trimble. She was a member of the Robert Lee United Methodist Church for over 60 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, an infant son, Finis, who died at birth, and her brothers, Pat, Tom and John Rives, as well as her sister, Dora Rives Owen. She leaves to mourn her passing her son Monty Trimble and wife Vicki of Corsicana; grandson Dr. Monty V. Trimble and fiancee Melissa of Ft. Worth; grandson Charles Trimble and wife Lindsey of McKinney; great- grand-children Jonathan, Elizabeth, Rachel and Anna Trimble and Clayton and Luke Trimble, plus several nieces and nephews. Graveside services were scheduled for 11 am Monday, September 23, 2013, at the Robert Lee Cemetery, with Grandson Charles Trimble officiating. Corley Funeral Home of Corsicana was in charge of arrangements. The family thanks the staff at Heritage Oaks Retirement Village for their loving care of Miss Daisy during her four and a half years there. They also thank Hand in Hand Hospice for their help to her in her final days.
