Obituary: Luann Hageman Ford, January 16, 2014 Contributed by Brenda Scott Hines May 2015 *********************************************************************** The Observer/Enterprise, Coke County, TX - March 7, 2014 Luann Hageman Ford, age 72, of New Braunfels passed away on January 16, 2014, after a short and courageous battle with cancer. A memorial service was held at 10 am on Monday, January 20, 2014, at Zoeller Funeral Home in New Braunfels. The service was officiated by Pastor Mike Harkrider of the First Baptist Church in Boerne. Luann was born on November 12, 1941, in Bronte to Frank D. and Dottie St Clair Hageman, now deceased. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, James A. "Jimmie" Ford of New Braunfels, son, James F. "Jimbo" Ford and wife Carol of Boerne, son, Todd Ford of New Braunfels, grandson Riley Ford of Kerrville and sister, Beth Parker of San Angelo. Luann is also survived by her brother-in-law, Paul Ford and wife Sylvia, sister-in-law, Eileen Henson and numerous nieces and nephews. After graduating from Bronte High School, she married Jimmie and they lived for several years in the Boerne area. Upon her retirement from John Marshall High School in San Antonio, they moved to New Braunfels and lived in the home they had built on the Guadalupe River. Luann will be remembered for her generosity to everyone she knew.
