Obituary: Donald Glenn, February 10, 2014 Contributed by Brenda Scott Hines May 2015 *********************************************************************** The Observer/Enterprise, Coke County, TX - Friday, February 21, 2014 Graveside services for Donald Glenn, age 76, of Aledo, Texas, were held at 2 pm Saturday, February 15, 2014, at Eastlawn Memorial Park with Todd King officiating; services under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home in Early. Mr. Glenn passed away Monday, February 10, 2014, at his residence. Donald Kenneth Glenn was born on January 3, 1938, in San Angelo, Texas, to D.K. Glenn and Betty Butner Glenn. He attended Tarleton State University where he was in the ROTC. Formerly of Bronte, Texas, he was a past member of the Bronte Lions Club and served on the Bronte School Board. Mr. Glenn moved to Brownwood in the 1980s and owned Glenns Photography. He was also an accountant, rancher and pilot. He enjoyed photography, flying and was a gun enthusiast. He had resided in Aledo for the past three years. Survivors include his wife Jeanette Glenn of Arlington, Texas; one son Kelly Glenn and wife Shirley of Early, Texas; one daughter Donna Julian and husband Ron of Arlington; four grandchildren Zane Waldrop and wife Jennifer of San Angelo, Texas, Amanda Smith and husband Brandon of Early, Texas; Shay Glenn of Weatherford, Texas, and Taylor Julian of Austin, Texas; two great grand-children Emma Waldrop and Riley Smith and two brothers, Eddie Glenn and wife Paulette of San Angelo, Texas, and Gene Glenn and wife Lisa of Azle, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
