The Observer/Enterprise, Coke County, TX - October 31, 2014

Santos Gloria, beloved husband, father, and brother went to be with our 
Lord on Sunday morning, October 26, 2014. He was 94, and born in Acuna, 
Mexico, on April 4, 1920.

Santos was preceded in death by his wife Cruz Ybarra Gloria and his 
daughter, Nina Gloria Charles of Bronte, Texas.

He is survived by his two sons and two daughters, Eugene and daughter-in-law 
Olivia Gloria of Benjamin, Texas; John and daughter-in-law Helen Gloria of
San Angelo, Texas; Eva Gloria Flores and son-in-law, Tony Flores of  
Bronte, Texas; and Elisa Gloria Coulon of Richardson, Texas. He had 
fourteen grand-children, twenty six great-grandchildren, and two great-great 
grandchildren. 

His siblings include two sisters and three brothers; Lydia Cuellar, 
Elida Sanchez, Faustino Gloria, Jesse Gloria, and Theodore Carrasco.

Visitation was held Tuesday, October 28, 2014, with a prayer service at 6 pm 
at Shaffer Funeral Home in Robert Lee, Texas. Graveside services were held at 
10am Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at Robert Lee Hispanic Cemetery in Robert Lee. 
Services were under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
