Obituary: Jose Luis Sanchez Lopez, December 8, 2014 Contributed by Brenda Scott Hines July 2015 *********************************************************************** The Observer/Enterprise, Coke County, December 19, 2014 Jose Luis Sanchez Lopez, 63, of Bronte, passed away on December 8, 2014, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Viewing was held from 10 am to 8 pm on Wednesday, December 10, 2014, and from 8 am to 8 pm on Thursday, December 11, 2014, at Robert Massie Funeral Home, San Angelo, Texas. Funeral services were held at 2 pm Friday, December 12, 2014, at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel, with Evaristo Granado, pastor of Roscoe Worship Center, officiating. Burial followed in the Blackwell Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. He was born on November 24, 1951, to Refugio and Rosalia (Lopez) Sanchez in Mexico. Jose was self-employed in fencing and ranching. On December 2, 1979, he married Armandina Rios in Cd. Acuna, Mexico. Jose and Armandina lived in Bronte, Texas. He loved his animals, horseback riding, gardening, music and working on his ranch. He especially loved the time he was able to spend with his grandchildren. Pallbearers will be sons and sons-in-law. He was preceded in death by mother, Rosalia Lopez, father, Refugio Sanchez, son, Jose Luis Sanchez Jr., five sisters, and two brothers. Jose is survived by his loving spouse of 35 years Armandina, two daughters, Nancy Sanchez and husband, Alex Garcia, Rosalia Sanchez and husband, Eugene Lopez, all of Roscoe, Texas; three sons, Jesse and wife, Gracie Sanchez of Laredo, Texas, Daniel Sanchez and partner Michael Dungan of San Angelo, Texas, Salvador Sanchez of Bronte, Texas; brother, Juan Manuel Sanchez Lopez of Mexico.
