Mrs. Green Roberts

Again death has come to our little town and taken away a beloved wife, mother 
and sister.

Mrs. Green Roberts was born Emma Annie "Onie" Daniel February 16, 1872 in 
Ashley County, Arkansas to Joseph Anderson and Mary Ann Jameson Daniel.  At the 
age of 12 she confessed Christ and became united with the Baptist Church.  She 
was a good Christian and she was faithful to her death.

She married Mr. Green Roberts December 5 1869 in Union County, Arkansas.  To this 
union were born nine children, five girls and four boys. All but one of the 
children were present when she died.

She was called to her heavenly home, December 18, 1929 in Coke County, Texas.  
Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church, Rev. J. A. Corder officiating.  
The Johnson Funeral Parlor of San Angelo had charge of funeral arrangements.

Mrs. Roberts is survived by her husband, eight children, Mrs. C. A. Stroud, 
San Angelo; Mrs. J. C. Wallace, Mrs, Emory Davis and Miss Alice Roberts, Lee, 
Artell, Earl , and Eddie Roberts all of Robert Lee, also two sisters and 
one brother.

She was laid to rest in the Robert Lee cemetery.

The Observer joins the many friends in sincerest sympathy for the bereaved ones.
