ROBERTS

Robert Lee, December 10, 1934 - 

Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church today at 11 a. m. by the 
Rev. D. K. Smith for a pioneer citizen of Coke County, Green Roberts.

Mr. Roberts was born June 6, 1869, in Falls County, Texas and died at 
Robert Lee Sunday.

He was married to Miss Emma Daniel in 1889, nine children being born to 
this union.  His wife and one child preceded him in death.  The children 
living are: Lee Roberts, Eddie Roberts, Artell Roberts, Earl Roberts, 
Mrs. Calvin Wallace, Mrs. Alice Turner, Mrs. Emory Davis, all of Robert Lee,
and Mrs. Carroll Stroud of San Angelo, Texas.

Mr. and Mrs. Roberts moved to Coke County in 1903, and have resided here 
since.

Mr. Roberts has been a member of the Baptist Church since 1901.
  
Burial was made in the Robert Lee Cemetery.
