Obituary: Jess Scott, Dec. 5. 1946 Contributed by Brenda Scott Hines Oct 2014 *********************************************************************** Bronte, Coke County, TX - Sandard Times News Service - Dec. 5. 1946 SCOTT Prominent Coke County Farmer's Body Found Thursday Bronte, Dec. 5,1946 - Body of Jess Scott, 50, prominent Coke farmer, was found this afternoon at residence that he was building. He is believed to have suffered a heart attack two hours before. Funeral arrangements are pending arrival of relatives from Dallas. The body is at Keeney Funeral home. Mr. Scott was a native of Coke County. He had moved here recently from his farm north of Bronte.
