SCOTT 

Prominent Coke County Farmer's Body Found Thursday

Bronte, Dec. 5,1946 - Body of Jess Scott, 50, prominent Coke farmer, was 
found this afternoon at residence that he was building.  He is believed 
to have suffered a heart attack two hours before.

Funeral arrangements are pending arrival of relatives from Dallas. The 
body is at Keeney Funeral home.

Mr. Scott was a native of Coke County. He had moved here recently from 
his farm north of Bronte.

Survivors include the mother, Mrs. Maggie Scott; the widow; Ara Scott;   
Children; Maurice, Darwin, Bobby, Billy Ray and Noel Dean, and four 
brothers; Walter, Leroy, Joe Ed all reside in Bronte, and Daniel of Dallas.
