She is buried by her husband James Thomas (J.T.) Altman who was a W.O.W. man (from his tombstone, a typical W.O.W. tombstone) and he died about 24 years before she. They were married in 1876 in Smith County, Texas, where their first child, my great-grandfather, Emory V. Altman was born in 1877. Liffie's maiden name was Smith, clearly, but I've been unable to track down her parentage. I do know from census data that she went back to Georgia in time to be enumerated in the census there in 1920, but was back in Texas for 1930 census.
