He married Leticia Wilson June 25, 1837. She was born May 9, 1820, near Winchester, Clark County, Kentucky. They had seven children: James Warren (or James William), Laura (died as child), Charles Pruitt, Laura, Mary Eva, John Kirby, and Emma Lee. Christopher grew up in Montgomery County, Kentucky, and moved his family to Boone County, Kentucky between 1840 and 1850. He was a farmer. They moved to Kenton County, Kentucky between 1870 and 1880. Christopher died November 7, 1880, and is buried on his farm three miles south of Florence, Kenton County, Kentucky. Leticia died February 13, 1906, in Covington, Kenton County, Kentucky. She is buried in Highland Cemetery in Covington. The partial page below is all that is left of Christopher Woodward’s bible. The rest is said to have been burned in a fire, and only this partial page was salvaged.
