COLEMAN, Jan. 7

Funeral for Eugene K. Burroughs, 60, Silver Valley citizen and resident of 
Coleman County for 54 years will be held from the J.E. Stevens company
chapel this afternoon with Rev. T. Lynn Stewart, pastor of the First Baptist
church officiating.

Interment in the local cemetery.

Mr. Burroughs was born in Stephenville, Texas on 1 September 1883. He died at
the home of a nephew, Clifford Burrough at Silver Valley on 4 January 1944.

He was a member of the Baptist church.

Mr. Burroughs had never married. Survivors: one brother - D.M.C. Burroughs
and the nephew.

Pallbearers: Ben Strickland, Clarence Saunders, Bob Corbell, Ed Templeton,
Arch Huddle, Harley Ray.
