Mrs. Blanton died Friday morning in Austin. She was born Oct. 17, 1893 in Goldthwaite and was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Fannie Anderson, Mrs. Loyce Myers and Mrs. Shirley Phillips, all of Austin, Mrs. Nell Rainey of Lubbock, Mrs. Anne McBeth of Andrews and Mrs. Myrtle Reese of Clute; two sons, Sid Blanton of Bangs and Tom Blanton of Kempner; a brother, Bill Scott of San Angelo; 24 grandchildren; and 12 greatgrandchildren.
