Cupps SANTA ANNA--- Funeral for Rachel W. Cupps, 82, of Trickham were at 11 a.m. today, Monday, June 26, 2000, at the Cleveland Church of Christ with Jack Bryan officiating. Burial followed in Cleveland Cemetery under the direction of Henderson Funeral Home of Santa Anna. Mr. Cupps died Saturday, June 24, 2000, at Brownwood Regional Medical Center. He was born May 16, 1918, in Coleman County to the late Elmer Roscoe and Loving Pauline Baugh Cupps. He was raised in Coleman County and attended Cleveland schools. He was married to Clara Genz on Nov. 24, 1936, in Santa Anna. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and was a member and leader in the Cleveland Church of Christ. He was a stock farmer and oil man. Survivors include his wife, Clara D. Cupps of Trickham; two daughters, Carolyn Covey of Georgetown and Patsy Brooke of Comanche; one son, Billy Don Cupps of Beaumont; four sisters, Thlema Fleming of Trickham, Ovella Williams of Santa Anna, Eunice Terry of Fort Worth and Jean Cox of San Angelo; two brothers, Darrell Cupps and Red Cupps, both of Santa Anna; nine grandchildren' and 11 great-grandchildren.
