Civil War Military Records
Company Muster-in Roll date July 5, 1862 by Capt. L. M. Martin for 3 years in 
McKinney, TX.  Last recorded Company Muster Roll information: "Detached to 
hunt for deserters June 20, 1863.  Sgt. John James Strain approved by United 
Daughters of the Confederacy for his Confederate Military Service on April 30, 
2008, as supplemental genealogy line by his great granddaughter.
