Armstrong F. WARD of Winnsboro, Franklin Parish, Louisiana.  Company K 
Regiment 1st Louisiana Cavalry.  Enlisted 28 October 1861, Waterproof, Tensas 
Parish, Louisiana.  Rank of Corporal.  Last date documented service 22 Jan 
1863.

Rolls from May 1862 to Dec 31, 1862, present.  Roll Jan and Feb 1863, Absent 
in La on sick furlough, extending from Jan 22 to Feb 22, 1863. Roll Mar 1863 
to Dec 1863 absent in La. on furlough, Jan 22, 1863 having received Surgeon's 
certificate for 30 days or 22 days to visit La.   

Additional Comments:
Armstrong came to Collin Co., TX around 1872 and lived until his death 3 Feb 
1901.  Buried at Decatur-Maxwell-Murphy Cemetery.
