Mr. Wilson formerly ran a meat market in McKinney, going out of business sometime last spring. At the time he was shot,he was moving with his family to Aubrey, Denton County, when but a little ways west of Celina, he alighted after shooting some game and on taking to the wagon, it was discharged, the contents taking effect in his foot. He was immediately brought back to Uncle Billie's. Dr. Wylie says his wounds are very painful but he may not be crippled after the wound is healed. The farmers say their cotton crops are being terrribly damanged by bole-worms. Not much encouragement---worms and low prices. Dunn & Smart will finish threshing this week. Jno. R. Gunter of Hill County is visiting J. Y. Hipp at present. Miss Hattie Moreland is on the sick list. Will Smith and family of Princeton are visiting Uncle Jimmie Smith. J. A. Moreland attended the Rebublican Convention at Fort Worth. Mr. Lindsey of Anna has been attending the bedside of his son here the past week or two. Several young people attended church at Verona Sunday. Frank Dunn is clerk for the new firm, J. C. Dunn & Co. E. C. Forbes of Anna is here. Feb. 21, 1905 Rosamond : J. M. Forbes and son, George and E.C. attended the funeral of the former's son at Forest Grove last Tuesday. Mrs. A. P. Speck has returned from a visit to her daughter near Van Alstyne. Mrs. Gant is still quite sick. Mr. Lon Stewart and Miss Sallie McLamore were married last Sunday. Rev. M. I. Davis, president of the Collin County Farmers Union will lecture here next Tuesday night. J. M. Forbes, who has been spending the winter here with his son, E. C. Forbes has returned to his home in Denton County. We are having plenty of winter to spare. Wed., March 2, 1910 Rosamond Chapel, Feb. 24, 1910 : Mrs. Lillie Bell was called to the bedside of her sister, Opal Sames, near Melissa, who has pneumonia fever, but we are glad to know that she is better at this writing. Mrs. Midie Forbes, Miss Ester Baldwin and Miss Eller Wright and sister, Miss Lula, all of Anna, visited Mrs. H. B. hall last Sunday.
