Health good. Our farmers are making things hustle now. Several real estate sales have been made in the last few days. D. N. Dunn has sold his house and lot and bought a farm. W. T. Terrell has bought and moved here. J. W. Lindsey has bought the store-house and dwelling formely owned by Clarence Rucker. O. or C. W. Warden has bought a lot and erected a fine shop ; he also purchared a residence lot on Johnson Ave. J. W. George has gone to Dallas to attend Hill's Business College. Rev. J. S. Cameron was with us Sat. Cattle buyers are thicker than cattle now. A team belonging to Ike Humbard ran away Sat. and caused some excitement for a short time. Fortunately no one was hurt and the damage to the team and wagon was slight. Quite a pleasant social was given by Nr. and Mrs. W. T. Terrell, Thursday night. Fourteen couples attended and all were pleasantly entertained. Miss Sallie Key of Johnson is preparing for her closing entertainment, which she says will surpass anything ever had at that place. Mantooth and Collins are working fulltime now and they may be able to keep up with orders.
