C. Forbes Mr. Herschel Dyer and Miss Esther Baldwin of Anna were united in wedlock Sunday afternoon at the home of the bride's uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Forbes of Anna. Rev. W. J. Wilson officiating. Miss Esther is an orphan, but was reared by the above relatives. She is, in every respect, one of the finest young ladies the writer has ever known. Mr. Dyer is an upright, industrious and highly esteemed young man. We wish and predict for this couple a happy life of peace, usefulness and all attendant blessings. The ceremony was witnessed by about fifty of the friends and relatives of the bride and groom. A magnificent and sumptuous banquet was served immediately after the ceremony, in the home of Mr. Forbes. by A. B. Fultz ----------------------------------------------------------------- Weekly Democrat-Gazette Friday, Dec. 6, 1918 C.A. Baldwin of Anna, was a McKinney business visitor Wednesday afternoon. He dropped in to see us ordering the Weekly Democrat Gazette sent to his father-in-law, T. G. Jennings of Carlisle, Arkansas. Mr. Jennings moved to Arkansas last week where he will make his future home. He has been a resident of Anna for many years. Mr. Baldwin and his family expect to leave Anna for Carlisle within the next few days where they will also reside in the future. Collin County regrets to lose the citizenship of such good people as messrs. Jennings and Baldwin. --------------------------------------------------------------------- The Democrat 1901 Messrs. Ain and Monce Lindsey attended the birthday dinner at Mr. Mallow's near New Hope last Saturday. Several of our citizens took in the "Red Bat" show at Farmersville Saturday. "Set 'em up boys"
