Helms was the honored guest at a dinner Sunday in the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Lee Stiles of Celina. Mr. Helms, a long time resident of Bethel Community northeast of Celina, is living in a nursing home in Pilot Point, Texas. He remains active and alert and in good health. He will be 96 years of age on November 29, 1969. He was born in a log cabin on Honey Creek, not far from where he lived most of his life. Five generations were present at the dinner Sunday. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Stiles and Mrs. Lottie Stiles.
