Dale Jimmie A. Dale, 507 E. Anthony Street, died Saturday in a local hospital after several months illness. He was born Dec 4, 1884 in Nevada, Collin County, being 87 years old. His parents were Louis and Sue Ella Web Dale, and he was married to Lona Mae Smith who died Dec 14, 1965. He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian church, and had been in the transfer business for many years. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Reba Owens and Mrs. Jimmie Lee Prince of McKinney; five grandchildren; three brothers; Bob and Charlie Dale of McKinney; Webb Dale of Dallas; four sisters; Mrs. Effie Stiff, Mrs. Pearl Palmer, Mrs. Irene Smith and Mrs. Catherine Wooten, all of McKinney and several nieces and nephews. Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Horn - Harris Crouch Chapel, conducted by Rev. Keith Allison and Rev Chief Warden with burial in Pecan Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers: V. E. Justice, C. E. Justice, R. B. Perkins, Cecil Perkins, Oliver Marrs and Pete Monroe.
