All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ Contributed by: Elaine Bay *********************************************** Funeral services for Mildred Dellow, 91, of Farmersville were held July 21, 2008, at Hurst’s Fielder-Baker Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Farmersville. Mrs. Dellow died July 19 in Farmersville. Amanda Rogers and Dr. Bart Barber officiated. Mrs. Dellow was born Nov. 6, 1916, in Farmersville to Bert and Edith Clark Baker. She married James Greer Dellow on Sept. 20, 1941. According to her family, she enjoyed doing many pieces of intricate cross stitch and needle point, that she shared with all her family. She loved to travel and traveled extensively in the U.S. Alaska, Nova Scotia, Canada and Europe. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Farmersville. She previously resided in Fort Worth for many years. Survivors include daughter Amanda and her husband Billy Joe Rogers of Lavon; sisters, Mary Jeanne Cox, Pat Mallett and Barbara Rupe and their husbands; brothers, James Baker and his wife, Clifford Short and his wife Mary Nell, Tillman Short and Amy Hernandez; and several nieces and nephews. ~ ~ ~ Farmersville Times, Thursday, July 24, 2008
