Darnall of the Cottage Hill community at the McKinney hospital at 7:30 Saturday moring as the result of heart attacks, the first of which he suffered some weeks ago. Mr. Darnall was born May 9, 1875, the son of Elder J. R. and Mary Darnall, Celina. He was born and reared on the old Darnall homestead in the Cottage Hill community and his entire life had been spent in Collin county, with the exeption of four years attending college at Transylvania University, Lexingron, Ky., and three years spent in that city in the employ of Chinn & Todd company, and several years spent in Wise county, Texas. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Celina. He married January 24, 1906, to Miss Exa Homes, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Holmes, Aubrey, Texas, by whom he is survived. He is also survived by three daughters, Mrs. Cecil Griffin and Miss Charlotte Darnall of Dallas, and Miss Julia Darnall of Celina, and by one grandson, David Darnall Griffin of Dallas. Surving brothers and sisters are Mrs. George P. Brown of McKinney, Dr. M. H. Darnall, Washing, D. C.; the Rev. Douglas Darnall, Hugoton, Kansas, and John Darnall of Celina. One sister, Miss Etta Darnall, and one brother, Brig. General C. R. Darnall preceded him in death. The last rites were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Cottage Hill Church by Dr. Clifford Weaver of McKinney, and the body was interred in the cemetery close by, where Mr. Darnall's parents have been sleeping for some years. A quartet composed of Tom Wilson, Hubbard O'Dell, Tom Perkins and Ted Yarborough furnished special music for the service. Pallbearers were C. W. O'Brien, Sam O'Brien, Charles Wilson, H. M. Brewer, Luther Frances, J. B. Tucker, D. O. Gray. All of the children of Mr. Darnall were present at the funeral. The two brothers living at a distance were unable to be present. One of them, Dr. M. H. Darnall, had returned home from a visit to his sick brother only a few days before the brother's death, and the other, Rev. Douglas Darnall, was himself ill. Thomas, Mrs. G. W. Owens and Mrs. W. C. Pearson of Denton; Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Bryan and daughter Bobbie Jean, Mrs. John Thomas, Mrs. Mattie Oates, Mrs. George P. Brown of McKinney; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Darnall, Mr. and Mrs. Don Woods of Garland; Mr. and Mrs. George Robertson, Mrs. Bertie Wilks, Mrs. Pearl Dyche and Miss Myrtie Rose of Frisco; T. P.
