Mr. Wester had been ill for several months. Funeral services will be held in Panhandle, Texas Friday morning and the body will be brought to Celina, Texas and the burial to be in Cottage Hill Cemetery Saturday. Survivors include Mr. Wester’s wife and one son; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. V. E. Wester of Celina, Texas; one brother, Wallace Wester of Fayetteville, Arkansas; three sisters, Mrs. Jim Thompson, Mrs. M. B. Balch of Celina, Texas and Mrs. Dave Cozart of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. From the Celina Record October 15, 1953) Graveside services were held in Cottage Hill Cemetery at 11 a.m. Saturday for Guy Wester, 42, former Celina, Texas man who died at his home in Panhandle, Texas following an illness of five months. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. V. E. Wester of Celina and was a wholesale agent in Panhandle for the Gulf Oil Company. Funeral services were first held at the First Christian Church in Panhandle at 1 o’clock last Thursday morning conducted by Rev. Barrett Moore, minister. Rev. Moore came to Celina and conducted the services at the graveside. Pallbearers after the body reached Celina were Lee Rucker, Glenn Phillips, Willard Howard - all of Celina, Texas, Fulton Patrick and A. W. Lewis of Dallas, Texas and Chris Chrismon of Denton, Texas.
