William "Jack" Hatchell, age 70, of Plano, TX died Saturday after a courageous
struggle with cancer.

Jack is survived by his wife Pat, by his daughters Amy Briggs and husband
Chris of McKinney, TX and Beth Jamison and husband David of Frisco, TX, by his
grandson Jack William Jamison and by his sister Jane Douglass and husband Bob
of El Paso, TX and their daughter Emily Douglass. Also surviving are his
sister-in-law Julie Compton and husband David of Ft. Worth, TX and their sons
Chantz and Collin and brother-in-law Mike Hewitt and wife Susan of Odessa, TX
and his son Nicky and sister-in-law Karen Allen of Slidell, LA and her
children Rob and April.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 until 9 p.m. where
the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m.

Memorial services will be on Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. at the Christ
United Methodist Church, Plano.

Memorials may be made to the Geriatric Wellness Center of Collin County or M.
D. Anderson Cancer Research.
