She was born on Oct. 30, 1917, in McKinney, Texas, to Arthur and Lula Ritter. On Dec. 24, 1956, she married Otis Hinsley. Myrtle was a member of Hillcrest Christian Church and the Eastern Star. She retired from Texas Instruments. After her retirement she worked for Horse and Rider in McKinney, Texas. Myrtle was on the board of Milligan Water. She is survived by her son Harold Hinsley of Garland, Texas; granddaughters, Wendy Hinsley of Hurst, Texas, Jacquelyn Hinsley of Garland, Texas; grandson Christopher Hinsley of Garland, Texas; and sisters June McKinney of Bellview, Wash., Jean Honea of LaMesa, Calif., and Rosa Dearing of North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Lula Ritter; husband, Otis Hinsley; and sister Jo Reavis. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 4, 2008, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, with Rev. Charles Waugh officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at Turrentine- Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
