FARMERSVILLE — Lanora S. Johnson, 94, of Farmersville died Saturday, May10,
2008, at her residence. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2008,
at Hurst’s Fielder-Baker Funeral Home chapel with Elder Owen Rushing and Elder
Lowell McCain officiating. Interment is in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson was born Jan. 9, 1914, in Clay County, Texas; the daughter of
William and Mary Webb Seigler. She was married to Lee Johnson on Jan. 6, 1940,
in McKinney. She was a homemaker and a member of Farmersville Primitive
Baptist Church.

Surviving are daughters, Sandra McClain and Betty Sergent, both of
Farmersville; sons, Wayne Johnson of Pittsburg, Texas and Vernon Johnson of
Farmersville; daughter-in-law, Doris Johnson of Farmersville; sisters, Marie
Raines of Farmersville, Louise Blakemore of Merit and Ernestine Wilson of
Kilgore; brother, James Seigler of Greenville; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-
grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Cecil Johnson; and two
grandchildren, Gary Coplen and Milton Walls.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
