Flanery, 49, died Friday in a Dallas hospital after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage. He lived at 7219 Concord, Dallas, Texas. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Sparkman-Brand Chapel, Dallas, Texas with Rev. McLain G. Smith officiating. A service at the graveside and burial followed at Cottage Hill Cemetery. A native of Celina, Mr. Flanery had lived in Dallas for the last 30 years. He had been associated with various manufacturers of printers’ rollers since he moved to Dallas and for 15 years had been with Samuel Bingham and Sons Mfg Co. He was a member of St. Luke’s Methodist Church, Dallas Club of Printing House of Craftsmen and Dallas Litho Club. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jack and Paschal Flanery, both of Dallas, Texas; his step-mother, Mrs. Harris Flanery of Celina, Texas; four brothers, Sonny, Byron, and Clarence Flanery all of Dallas, Texas and Hershel Flanery of Celina, Texas; five sisters, Mrs. Ida Thompson and Mrs. Jesse Tillerson, both of Celina, Texas; Mrs. Winnie Terrell of Anna, Texas; Mrs. Beulah Floyd of White Heath, Illinois, and Mrs. Donna Tillerson of Inglewood, California.
