He was a cab driver. He was born in Celina, Texas on June 15, 1910, son of Hulan Thomason and Hattie Wester. He died at his residence on January 18, 1992 at 6 p.m. at the age of 81. Services were held Tuesday, January 21, 1992 at 2 p.m. at Cantrell Funeral Chapel with Rev. Joe Bacum officiating. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Burial was in Cottage Hill Cemetery. Thomason, 81, of Irving, Texas, who died Saturday at his residence, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cantrell Funeral Home Chapel in Celina with Rev. Joe Baccum officiating. Burial will be in Cottage Hill Cemetery. Services are under direction of Cantrell Funeral Home in Celina, Texas. He was born June 15, 1910, in Celina, Texas, son of Hulan Thomason and Hattie Wester Thomason. He married Mildred Emadel Moore in 1941 in Celina. He was a Yellow Cab driver in Dallas, Texas and a Baptist. Survivors include his wife of Irving, Texas; three sons, Charles Lynn Thomason of Sunset, Texas, Kenneth Graham Thomason and John Leslie Thomason, both of Irving, Texas; three daughters, Virginia Merle Long of Birmingham, Alabama, Ruth Ellen Jordan of Irving, Texas and Dolores Kay Carsley of Sunset, Texas; one sister, Pauline Dean of Fort Worth, Texas; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
