Maude Bilderback Obituary

Mrs. O. M. Bilderback, 75, died of a heart attack about 1 p.m.
Wednesday at her home in Celina, Texas. She had suffered a
heart ailment for about 7 years, but had been up and about that
morning. Death came quite suddenly while she was sitting in a chair
in her kitchen. Mrs. Bilderback’s maiden name was Maude McGuire,
and she came to Texas from Mississippi with her parents, Mr. and Mrs
J. B. McGuire, when she was a child, settling in the Weston Community
in Collin County. She and her husband, O. M. Bilderback, who survives,
were married in Weston, Texas on August 30, 1895. She was born April
16, 1880 in Mississippi. Funeral services were in the First Baptist
Church with pastor, Rev. E. R. Seanor, officiating. Burial will follow in
Cottage Hill Cemetery with Helms Funeral Home in charge. In addition
to her husband, Mrs. Bilderback is survived by seven sons: O’Dell
Bilderback of Farmersville, Texas; Frank Bilderback of Sweetwater,
Texas; Eldon Bilderback of Celina, Texas; Roy Bilderback of Amarillo,
Texas; Velvie Bilderback of Carrollton, Texas; Lloyd Bilderback of
Dallas, Texas; and Glenn Bilderback of Dallas, Texas; and one daughter,
Mrs. Otho Perry of San Bernadino, California. Other survivors are a
brother, Tom McGuire of Stillwater, Oklahoma; two sisters, Mrs. E. H.
Shelton of Durant, Oklahoma and Mrs. H. W. Flanery of Celia, Texas;
eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
