All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ Contributed by: Elaine Bay *********************************************** Mr. Bennie Frank McCormack, age 62, of Princeton, Texas passed away July 7, 2008, in Plano, Texas. He was born on April 7, 1946, in McKinney, Texas to Frank and Frances (Andrews) McCormack. On July 29, 1964, he married Jean Moore in Durant, Oklahoma. Bennie retired from the Texas Department of Transportation after 35 years of service. Following his retirement, he worked as a salesman for Wright Asphalt. Bennie loved his grandchildren and enjoyed going to their school activities and sporting events. When not working or at family functions, Bennie enjoyed having coffee and spending time with friends. Bennie never met a stranger. He is survived by his wife, Jean; children, Margie Stephens and husband, Darrell of Anna, Texas and Bennie Jean “BJ” Long and husband, Keith of Princeton, Texas; grandchildren, Kelsey Stephens and Bryson Long; brother, Michael McCormack and wife, Teresa of Leonard, Texas and Bobby McCormack and wife, Sharon of Colleyville, Texas; mother, Frances McCormack of Leonard, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 9, 2008, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Duane Hayes officiating. Interment will follow at Fitzhugh Cemetery in the Forrest Grove Community of Lucas, Texas. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
