She was born on Jan. 21, 1935, in Allen, Texas, the daughter of Earl R. and Willie Ellen (Rodgers) Cuffman. Mrs. McGhee was a graduate of Plano High School Class of 1953 and the president of Texas Transformer, Inc. She was of the Baptist faith and a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, servant and friend. She was also famous for her culinary skills, specifically her chicken-fried steak and macaroni and cheese. She is survived by her sons, D. Mark and his wife, Denna of Gilbert, Ariz., and David and his wife, Kim of Plano, Texas; daughter Pamela "Pete" Hough and her husband, Alan of Waxahachie, Texas; grandchildren, James Robert McGhee, Sarah Elizabeth McGhee, Krystal Dawn McGhee, Justin Don McGhee, Bradley Neel Hough, Bonham Lamar Hough, Benjamin Hezekiah Hough, Amanda Sue Huckaby and Andrea Dawn Huckaby; and great-grandson, Hayden McGinnis. Preceding her in death were her parents; and daughter Deborah Kay Huckaby. A graveside service will take place at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 18, 2008 at Ridgeview Memorial Park with Pastor David Brown officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation at Turrentine-Jackson- Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday. ~ ~ ~ Star Community Newspapers, May 16, 2008
