Miller of Farmersville was killed instantly, Thursday morning about 10 o’clock on the Culberson Highway, 3 miles east of Emory, near Bishop Filling Station, when the car in which he was driving overturned. Eli O.D. Josephine and Bob Fossol both of Farmersville were the other two passengers, and they were bruised and cut in several places about the body. An eye witness to the accident said, Mr. L.L., driver of the car, was making about 25 to 30 miles an hour when he hit loose sand and gravel and the car swerved from one side of the road to the other and overturned into the ditch, which is about 6 feet deep. They were driving a Chrysler coupe and were on their way to Van Oil Well. The car was completely wrecked. Mr. Miller’s neck was broken and his right leg broken and he received 2 severe gashes on the side of his temple. Mr. Miller was a farmer, living near Farmersville and is survived by 2 married daughters. An ambulance from Greenville was called and took charge of the body.
