All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************** Obituary for Myrtle Mae Lair CELINA - Services for Myrtle Mae Lair, 92 year old Celina homemaker who died Tuesday at HCA medical Center in Plano, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church here. The Rev. Kenneth Gibson and the Rev. V. L. Harris will officiate, and burial will be in Cottage Hill cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cantrell Funeral Home. Mrs. Lair was born in Krum, the daughter of Charles W. Cooper and Dela Pearce Cooper, and married Carl Eberle Lair on Oct. 21, 1915, in Sherman. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Celina. Surviving are her daughters, Kay Graves of Sherman and Thelma Rollins and Lena Tucker, both of Richardson; sons, Carl Eberle Lair Jr. of Alexandria, Va., Harry Eugene Lair of Grand Canyon, Ariz., Kenneth Louis Lair of Aubrey and David Cooper Lair of Celina; 21 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
