Services Pending for Guyer William PORTER
McKinney -- Funeral services are pending at Crouch-Moore Funeral Home for
Guyer William PORTER, 81, of Allen, who died at 8 p.m. Sunday in a McKinney
Hospital.

Mr. PORTER was born Nov. 23, 1882, in Mississippi. He was a retired farmer and
a member of the Allen Baptist Church.

Surviving him are five sons, Cecil PORTER of Weston, William and G. W. PORTER,
Jr. of Allen, Tom PORTER of McKinney and Travis PORTER of Plano; five
daughters, Mrs. Thelma GILES of California, Mrs. Elizabeth GRAVES and Mrs.
Irma Lou ADNEY of Allen, Mrs. Alice ROCKETT of Spain and Mrs. Joann PRESTON of
Washington; one brother, Augusta PORTER of Dallas; one sister, Mrs. Mary
HOOVER of Mississippi; 23 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
