H.L. Richardson

McKinney – Services for H.L. Richardson of Austin, 79 year-old former 
superintendent of schools in Southmayd, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in 
Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow funeral Home Chapel.  He died Tuesday at home.  
	Burial will be in Blue Ridge Cemetery.
	Mr. Richardson retired in 1976 after 35 years as a teacher and 
administrator.  He was formerly associated with McKinney, Sanderson, and Port 
Neches-Groves schools.  
	Surviving are his wife, Lois Edwin “Ed” Richardson of Austin, sons Pat 
Richardson of Austin and Mike Richardson of York, PA, brothers Aaron 
Richardson of Dallas and Adolphus Richardson of Plano; sisters, Cys Austin and 
Neva Hudek, both of Dallas; three grandchildren and three great-
grandchildren.  
	The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
