Rossetter, who has been a citizen of the Parker community many years, died Sunday evening at 8:30 o'clock at his home near Parker. His illness covered several weeks back when he was taken with typhoid pneumonia, his condition gradually growing worse until he finally secumbed to death's call. John T. Rossetter was fifty years old at the time of his death. He had lived in the Parker neighborhood for many years and was a popular citizen of that community. He was married to Miss Mattie Ward in 1881 and to their union ten children were born, the wife and nine children survive him. The funeral service was conducted by the Rev. Turner of Richardson, a Presbyterian minister, Mr. Rossetter having been a consistant memeber of the Presbyterian Church for several years. His remains were laid to rest in the Murphy cemetery Monday evening surrounded by a large number of sorrowing friends. The Star-Courier extends condolence to the bereaved family.
