Orlan F. Ritter, 87, of Princeton, Texas, passed away on May 16, 2008.

He was born on Feb. 10, 1921, in McKinney, Texas, to Earl Dennis and Edith Ann
(Murphy) Ritter. Orlan proudly served in the United States Army and was a
veteran of World War II. On Oct. 15, 1938, he married Eva Erline Pruitt in
McKinney, Texas.

He attended Faith Baptist Church in Princeton. He spent his life as the owner
and operator of Ritter’s Garage in McKinney.

He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth and Tom Crump of
McKinney, Va., Virgil Atnip of Blossom, Texas, Ruby and Richard Herring of
Fort Worth and Sandra and Jimmy Graves of McKinney; 13 grandchildren; 24
great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren and sister, Edith Pauline
Sheperd of Houston.

He was preceded in death by his wife and two brothers.

Funeral services will take place at noon, Monday, May 19, 2008, in the
Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Dr. Danny Buster officiating. Interment
will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends during a visitation at 6 p.m. Sunday.
