James W. Smith

Celina – Graveside services for James Weldon Smith, 73 year old retired Celina
construction worker who died Thursday at Medical Plaza Hospital in Sherman, wer
held Friday in Cottage Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Don Bohlcke officiated.
Arrangements were under the direction of Cantrell Funeral Home.

Mr. Smith was the son of Jimmy R. Smith and Minnie Montgomery Smith, and married
Ruby Perry in 1940 in Dallas.  He was a World War II Navy Seabees veteran.

Surviving are his son, Jerry Smith of Weston; sister, Erma Black of Rusk; and
two granddaughters.
