Funeral services for Shirley Stringer of Garland were held June 3, 2008, at
Miller Road Baptist Church. Interment followed at Wylie Cemetery. The Rev.
Matt Jerrell, the Rev. Louie Olivarri and son Shade Stringer officiated the
service. Mrs. Stringer died May 30.

She was born March 3, 1946, in Salem, Ohio to the late Elmer and Joyce Ellen
(Kibler) Orsburn. She married Theodore Stringer Aug. 5, 1966, in Atwater, Ohio
and was a member of Miller Road Baptist Curch in Garland.

Survivors include her husband, Theodore Stringer of Garland; sons, Samuel Boyd
Stringer of Garland, Shade Augustus Stringer of Garland, James Edward Stringer
of Nevada and Jeffrey Bryan Stringer of Garland; sister, Jackie J. Huebner of
Tennessee; brothers, Ronald K. Orsburn of California, Robert C. Orsburn and
Clifford S. Orsburn, both of South Carolina, and five grandchildren.

Arrangements were under the direction of Allen Funeral Home of Wylie.
