Jimmy D. Thomas, 61, of Princeton died July 16, 2008, in Farmersville. A
funeral service is scheduled at 11 a.m. today in the Hurst’s Fielder-Baker
Funeral Home chapel. Burial follows in Altoga Cemetery in Altoga. Visitation
is from 9 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Born July 22, 1946, in Princeton, he was the son of Dewell “Bud” and Faye
Cullum Thomas. Mr.

Thomas served in the U.S. Navy. He was a painter.

Survivors include a son, Taylor Shane Thomas of Farmersville; two daughters,
Stacie Dee Duckworth and Kelly Sellman of Farmersville; companion Regina
Barber of Princeton; brothers John H. Thomas of Farmersville, Jerry Thomas of
Princeton and James Alton Thomas of Van Alstyne; a sister, Debra Fisher of
Princeton; and grandchildren Travis Powell, Taylor Thomas, Colten Powell,
Amanda Thomas, Rachel Powell, Randy Powell, Cannon Thomas and Tommy Selman.

Jimmy D. Thomas

Funeral services for Jimmy D. Thomas, 61, of Princeton were held July 18,
2008, at Hurst’s Fielder Baker Chapel Farmersville. Interment followed Altoga
Cemetery in Altoga. Mr. Thomas died July 16, 2008 in Farmersville.

He was born July 22, 1946, in Princeton to Dewell “Bud” and Faye Cullum
Thomas. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a painter by trade.

Survivors include son, Taylor Shane Thomas of Farmersville; daughters, Stacie
Dee Duckworth and Kelly Sellman of Farmersville; companion Regina Barber of
Princeton; brothers, John H. Thomas of Farmersville, Jerry Thomas of Princeton
and James Alton Thomas of Van Alstyne; sister, Debra Fisher of Princeton;
