Alma Thompson

Services for Alma Thompson, 90 year old Celina, Texas resident who died Thursday
at Hilltop Haven, Gunter, Texas, were held Saturday in Harrington-Bratcher-
Dickey Chapel. Rev. J. T. Bledsoe and Rev. Doug Miller officiated. Burial was at
Cottage Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Thompson was born in Celina, Texas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Wester.
She was the widow of Jim Thompson who died in 1967.

Two daughters, Wilma Barrett and Joyce McCandless preceeded their mother in
death.

Surviving are daughters, LaVerne Norman of Celina, Texas an Delores Elliott of
Dallas, Texas; brother, Wallace Wester of Arkansas; sisters, Mary Lena Greenwood
of Celina, Texas and Leona Cozard of Oklahoma; six grandchildren and 10 great-
grandchildren.
