Jim Walker, age 60, of Richardson, Texas, passed away April 29, 2008, in
Richardson.

Jim was born July 22, 1947, in Lubbock, TX, to Leon Floyd and Geraldine
(Jenkins) Walker. He married Linda Charlene Abbott on July 6, 1965 in North
Little Rock, Arkansas. Jim was a credit manager in the financial services
area.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Walker of Richardson, TX; daughter, Kimberly
Vandergriff and her husband, Jay, of Allen, TX; grandchildren, Kirstin Reid,
Lacy and Gage Vandergriff, all of Allen, TX; mother, Geraldine Powell of
Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Floyd Walker.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 3, 2008 at Turrentine-
Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, TX, with Dr. Danny Buster officiating.
Interment followed at Fitzhugh Cemetery in Forest Grove, Texas.

The family received friends during a visitation on Friday, May 2, 2008 evening
at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
