Pallbearers were grandsons, Bobby Williams, Mark Friemel and Randy Friemel; great-grandsons, Bo Williams, Derek Friemel, Joshua Friemel. Honorary pallbearers were Zach Friemel and Jacob Friemel. The Chaplain David Smith officiated. Mr. Williams died March 30. He was born Nov. 9, 1917, in Okema, Okla., to Robert and Minnie Williams. He lived in the Goldsmith and Odessa area of West Texas for 50 years. He retired from Amoco in 1982 after 31 years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church and the Volunteer Fire Department in Goldsmith. Floyd moved to Princeton in October 2001. He is survived by his daughters, Donna Miles and her husband Mike of Princeton and Kathryn Friemel and her husband Marvin of Andrews; son Robert Williams and his wife Lois of Great Mills, Md.; eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; sister, Fern Luttrell Chambers of Oklahoma City, Okla. and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Mary Bell; son, Richard Williams and his wife, Dena; daughter, Mary Ruth Williams; grandson, Richard Scott Miles; three brothers and five sisters. ~ ~ ~ The Farmersville Times, Thursday, April 3, 2008
