To the memory of Mrs. A.S. Graves, Died Sep. 24, 1896, Aged 44 yrs 6m 
20d, “One precious to our hearts is gone, The voice we loved is stilled, The 
place made vacant in our home, Can never more be filled, Our father in his 
wisdom called, The boon His love had given, And though on earth the body lies, 
The soul is safe in heaven.” (West side of obelisk)
“Martha and Ellen lie side by side, Their sweet lives from earth are taken, 
When on earth in each other did confide, Now in sweet embrace in heaven.” 
(North side of obelisk)
