Collin County, TX - WILL OF R. MURCHISON, SR. Fayetteville, Washington Co, AR, probated 12 Sep 1914, Recorded in Collin County, TX. LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF R. MURCHISON, SR. KNOW ALL MEN BY THOSE PRESENT: That I, R. Murchison Sr., of Fayetteville, Arkansas, being of full age and of sound and disposing mind and memory, and desiring to make a disposition of my worldly goods and effects differing somewhat from the law of descent and distribution of the State of Arkansas, and hereby revoking any and all other wills by me at any time heretofore made, do make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament to-wit: 1st: I give and bequeath to my sons, William Kenneth Murchison, John T. Murchison, Rod Murchison, Charlie C. Murchison, each the sum of One Dollar. And to my daughters Betty Burns, Carrie Stone and Connie Howell, I give each the sum of One Dollar. The above named children being by my first wife, Elizabeth, and I having heretofore given and advanced to each of them the full amount I intent they shall have from my estate, save the bequest herein named. 2nd: To my infant daughter, Rachel, by my wife, Ruth, I give and bequeath out of my money loaned to Dr. Andrews of Farmersville, Texas, the sum of $8000.00, also the piano in my home. And I here declare and appoint Ruth Murchison Trustee for my daughter, Rachel, during her minority, and request that she be not required to give bond as such. 3rd: To my wife, Ruth, I give and bequeath $2000 out of my money loaned to Dr. Andrews of Farmersville, Texas, as well as all interest accrued or hereafter to accrue upon the whole sum loaned to the said Dr. Andrews. I also give and bequeath to my said wife, Ruth, all of my household goods, save the piano, which is by this will given to Rachel. Also all cash on hand, or deposited in any bank, and especially that deposited to my credit in the Farmers and Merchants Bank of Farmersville, Texas, do I give and bequeath to my said wife. And I hereby give and bequeath to my said wife any and all other money, notes, accounts and property not herein specifically disposed of. 4th: My home place on Lafayette Avenue, in the City of Fayetteville, more particularly described as: Beginning at the Northwest corner of lot 6, in Block 8, (old Number 4) in Masonic Addition to Fayetteville, and running Thence East 63 feet; Thence South to the South line of said lot: Thence West 63 feet, and Thence North to the place of beginning, I give and bequeath to my said wife Ruth, absolutely and in fee simple. 5th: Imposing especial faith and confidance in my said wife, Ruth, I hereby appoint her Executrix, of this my last will and testament, and direct her to pay all of my just debts and funeral expences out of any cash that may be on hand at the time of my death, and to fully execute this will in all its provisions.
