			This indenture made this the 10th day of December 1847 between 
MARY EHLINGER on the one part and HERMANN GERHARD HILLMANN of the other part in 
compliance with a bond dated the 21st day of March 1846 and filed for record the 
21st day if March 1846 witnessth that the said MARY EHLINGER for and in 
consideration of the sum of Four hundred dollars to her in hand paid the receipt 
whereof is hereby fully acknowledged and confessed does hereby grant bargain sell 
convey and confirm unto the said H.G. HILLMANN his heirs executors administrators 
and assigns forever two hundred acres of land the same being situated and described 
as follows: in Colorado County on west side of Comings creek about 12 miles above 
the Town of Columbus being a part of the one league and labor granted by the 
Republic of Texas to JOSEPH EHLINGER deceased husband of MARY EHLINGER beginning at 
the NW corner of same league thence S 42 degrees 10 W with the NW line of same 
league 200 varas to a far the N corner of this survey; thence S 46 degrees 20 E 
1228 5/10 varas to a stake from which a post oak marked H bears N 2 degrees 15 W 
7 27/100 varas and a Do  (?)  marked H bears  70 degrees 45 W 10 varas ; 
Thence S 43 degrees 40 W 949 5/10 varas to a stake from which a black jack marked  
X bears N 42 degrees 30 W 7 7/10 varas & a do marked X N 6 degrees W 12 varas; 
thence N 64 degrees 20 W to the N W line of the aforesaid league to a stake from 
which a post oak marked X bears S 57 degrees E 19 75/100 varas and a do marked X 
bears N 51 degrees E 18 5/10 varas; thence N 42 degrees 10 E 919 5/10 varas along 
the said SW line to the place of beginning comprehending  within the aforesaid 
limits 200 acres of land together with all and singular the woods ways and water 
courses thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to have and to hold the 
above described premises unto the said H G HILLMANN his heirs & executors, 
administrators and assigns to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof 
forever And the said MARY EHLINGER for herself her executors her heirs 
administrators and assigns the aforesaid premises unto the said H G HILLMANN his 
heirs executors administrators and assigns against the claim or claims of all and 
every person whomsoever does and will warrant and forever defend by these presents
In witnessth where of the said MARY EHLINGER party of the first part has hereunto 
set her hand and scroll for seal the day and year first above written
