Clute, Texas, The Facts Wed, Jun 12, 1996
Ross Libengood Funeral services for Ross Libengood, 70, of Canyon Lake, Texas,
and formerly of Lake Jackson, were held at 10:00 am Saturday, June 8, 1996, at
Canyon Lake Presbyterian Church with The Revs. Doug and Sonya Dalglish
officiating. Burial followed in Cranes Mill Cemetery. Mr. Libengood passed away
Thursday, June 6, 1996, at McKenna Memorial Hospital in New Braunfels, Texas. He
was born May 21, 1926 in Alliance, Ohio and a resident of Canyon Lake since
1992. He was an Analytical Chemist for B.A.S.F. He was a member of the Canyon
Lake Presbyterian Church, Elder in the Canyon Lake Presbyterian Church and
active member in Bible Study Fellowship in New Braunfels. He was also a member
of the American Chemical Society.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Libengood of Canyon Lake; daughters, Kelly
Libengood of San Antonio and Susan Libengood of Canyon Lake; son and daughter-
in-law, Steven and Lis Libengood of Lake Jackson; brother, Bruce Libengood of
Akron., Ohio; and sisters, Alice Martin and Eva Bodo, both of Alliance, Ohio.
Memorials may be given to the Canyon Lake Presbyterian Church, 230 Shepard Hills
Dr., Canyon Lake, TX 78133 or to Hospice New Braunfels, 613 N. Walnut. New
Braunfels, TX 78130. Arrangements were by Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in New
Braunfels, Texas.
