Gainesville Daily Register, Gainesville, Texas, 2 September 1922
ARCH W AUTRY, WELL KNOWN CITIZEN OF THE COUNTY, IS DEAD

	Arch W. Autry, age 50 years, prominent farmer of the Mountain Springs 
community died at his home 7 miles south east of Gainesville this morning at 
4:30 o’clock.
	Mr. Autry is survived by four children and several grandchildren.  He is 
an uncle of Mrs. Sid Loving of this city.  Mr. Autry was an ordained minister of 
the Baptist church and has been preaching for the past 20 years.  The funeral 
services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock, conducted by Rev. Charles 
Cox after which interment will be made in New Hope Cemetery.  S. W. Gibson has 
charge of funeral arrangements.
