J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tony Day, pastor of Mission Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the funeral home. Mrs. Brinkley died Jan. 20, 1997, at Texoma Medical Center in Denison. She was born Dec. 2, 1920, in Gainesville to Moss and Margaret Louise Plum Hall. On July 10, 1945, she married Adron (sic) Brinkley in Marietta, Okla. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mission Methodist Church. Survivors include her sons, Donald Brinkley of Denison, James Brinkley and Adron Brinkley, both of Gainesville; daughters, Vickie Henson of California, and Linda Brinkley of Dallas; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on June 13, 1993. The family will be at the funeral home from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday.
