ANNIE BELL CANTRELL Daily Register, Gainesville (Tex), Tues, Nov. 1, 1949: Mrs. Annie Bell Cantrell, 57, died at 1:30 p.m. Monday at her residence, 1406 Jean street. Funeral rites are to be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Leazer-Keel Funeral chapel. Officiating minister will be Rev. R. W. Walker, pastor of the First Pentecostal Holiness church, and Rawlins Cherryhomes, formerly of the Dixon Street Christian church. Burial will be in the Dye cemetery, southeast of Gainesville. Bearers will be Mrs. Cantrell's nephews. Mrs. Cantrell was born Feb. 1, 1892, in Texas. She was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors include one daugher, Mrs. L. T. Carlile of Gainesville; one son, Frederick Brinkley of Gainesville; one sister and two brothers, Mrs. Beulah Hodgkinson and Charlie and Ben Pearson, all of Denison; one half-brother, Monroe Wilson of Gainesville; three grandchildren.
